The homemade medicine for sore throat is using baking soda. But don’t worry, here is the solution. Take one and a half cup of water and put some fresh or dried mint, fennel, and green cardamom and boil till one cup is remained in the pot. Then squeeze the half lemon into it and calm.

Krameria root, older pine needles just pulled off the tree, and wild geranium are all very helpful for regulation. To use, roughly chop or grind the dried herb of your choice. Add 1 ounce to a quart jar that can take heat, and fill with hot water. Cover the concoction and let it steep overnight (or for two hours if you really can’t wait). Drink it throughout the next day. Repeat as needed. 

Infections and Wounds

Turmeric can be used to prevent infections and treat wounds because of a compound called curcumin. Foods with curcumin have strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties so they can help with cleansing and healing. A study in the Biochemical Journaleven found that curcumin has the ability to stop bacteria from multiplying. If your medicine cabinet is running low on antibiotic ointment, try dabbing a little turmeric on your cut or scrape instead, but only for minor or superficial wounds. Use half a teaspoon of turmeric powder with a drop or two of water to make a paste, or if the wound is still bleeding a bit, you can apply the powder without water. After the area is dry, cover with a dressing and let the healing begin.
